Mount Bachelor
Mount Bachelor is a dormant stratovolcano in the Cascade Range of central Oregon1. It has an elevation of 9,068 feet and a proximal relief of 2,674 feet1. It is located in the southwest of Bend, in the Deschutes National Forest!
Mount Bachelor is also a popular ski and snowboard resort, with 4,318 acres of skiable terrain, 15 lifts, and 101 runs! it is on the Ikon Pass.
Crater Lake
Crater Lake is a beautiful and unique natural wonder in Oregon. It is the deepest lake in the United States, with a depth of 1,949 feet, and one of the clearest in the world, with a deep blue. it is about 2 hours outside Bend.
It was formed about 7,700 years ago, when a massive volcanic eruption caused the collapse of Mount Mazama, creating a huge caldera that filled with rain and snow over time234.
