South of France

Sept 2021

We spent 5 days in the south of France.

We traveled 2 days in Nice, 2 days in St. Tropez, 1 day in Cannes, and 1/2 a day in Antibes.

Renting a car made it super easy! Highly recommend. Just go speed limit or you'll get pulled over for speeding.... we only know by experience =)

Nice

🏠Housing was in Old Town. Easy to get to from the train station and walkable to many restaurants, bars, and the castle.

🌸 Flower market in old town

🕍 Colline du chateau (castle hill) - Free

Colline du Château or Castle Hill is a must see while in Nice with its breathtaking

views of the city and the Mediterranean Sea. This area is where Nice was founded in

the third century BCE. From high on the hill a trading post was established and then

a defensive post was maintained. A large wall was built around the city only to be

torn down in the early 1700s.

🍸 Opera Plage: stopped for drinks on the beach
